I’m happy Doc is more involved in this book as I felt he fell out of the recent stories even though he was there but he is more involved in this book. This book has great humor and action as the rest of the series has and any fan of the series definitely won’t be disappointed. Now back to waiting patiently for the next installment. Omega Force is once again throwing into a messy, more than usual uninformed mission. I absolutely love this is series and and I'm happy that it is finally getting more books out. I could barely put the book down and was a little sad that I had read the book so fast. I was concerned it might be a while for the next book. Or if there might be a Nextbook. The characters are all formed, but somewhat more mellowed, each settling into its own role and there are less sparks between them, so the Omega machine works smoothly. It was definitely worth reading how Omega Force once again beats the odds, kicks butt, takes names, and comes out on top. Great cast of characters who you learn to love and are still able to dislike at times, Kage and his incessant whining and total inability to see he’s being goaded and guided into being the petulant genius of the crew. Crusher remains the hard core warrior who while on mission is laser focused and when not on mission an utter pain in the keister. Jason’s still a great character with an oddly abrasive relationship with a crew he obviously loves but who also drive him to consider murder. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2021 )

I absolutely love the character of Jason Burke, and i was extremely happy when i saw a new episode was out. However, i do not appreciate reading a rough draft of a book, and having to pay for it. By contrast, some authors, such as Steven Erikson, can produce 1000-page door-stops, and I lap them up, since every book is a rich experience in novel territory. The premise for all the previous books has been the gang doing right and sod the consequences, this one seemed far more spread out.
