The patterns look like they’ll be easy to follow and there are no quarter or half stitches in any of the patterns. DMC is the thread brand referenced in this book. The author goes over what items you’ll need and how to do a basic cross-stitch and back stitch. She also gives suggestions for framing your work and how to wash it. Each section has a short paragraph that talks about the patterns in it. There’s a fun rhyme written on each pattern page too. I’m so happy that I purchased this book.
